Food Safety and Quality Assurance

The Bruss Company is very fortunate to be aligned with Tyson Foods, Inc. and their Food Safety and Quality Assurance programs. As an industry leader, Tyson Foods has been committed to providing safe, quality foods people have trusted for more than 80 years. Tyson Foods has a history of developing innovative and effective food safety systems. These systems have been recognized as gold standards in the industry and as state of the art by government regulators. These innovations are essential in maintaining the confidence customers and consumers have in the Tyson® brand and The Bruss Company brands.

The safety of our products is closely monitored by The Bruss Company Food Safety Team, which evaluates key aspects of our production processes to prevent potential food safety issues. The Bruss Company’s plants are federally inspected by the USDA, and plant programs are audited several times annually by certified food safety specialists from internationally recognized, independent third-party audit companies. The Bruss Company takes great pride in having achieved certification from the British Retail Consortium (BRC) as part of the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).

From our product and process monitoring programs to our Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) verification processes, our dedication to safe, high quality food is evident in the programs and controls we have implemented to protect our products. Our commitment to Food Safety helps ensure every product leaving The Bruss Company plants meets or exceeds customers’ and consumers’ expectations.
